Boomplay

Boomplay is a music streaming app, that like Spotify, Saavn, or BOOM, makes it possible to enjoy loads of music from the best artists in Africa, and the rest of the world, as well as watch video clips or view song lyrics.

With Boomplay, you don't even need to create an account to start listening to music. That being said, if you do create an account, you can not only stream music but also download it to your Android device so you can listen to anywhere, even without an internet connection. On top of that, you can also create playlists and share them with other users.

Boomplay also has an equalizer, accessible from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen, that you can use to customize the sound of each song. And, since you can read the lyrics while the song is playing, you can even use Boomlplay to transform your Android device into a karaoke machine! As if that wasn't enough, Boomplay also makes it possible to also follow others and chat with them directly from the app.
